OekoFor GbR takes the protection of personal data very seriously. For users to be able to use our website (www.oekofor.de) fully, it is necessary to collect certain information when they visit our website. With this privacy policy statement, we inform users about what data we collect, how we use that data and about their rights as users of our website.
Our collection and transfer of data complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). What information is collected and for what purpose?
Visits to the website (connection information)
This website is hosted externally (Host: Alfahosting GmbH, Ankerstraße 3b, DE-06108 Halle (Saale); https://alfahosting.de). Data from every visit to our website is stored temporarily on the host server in a protocol file to ensure data security. To this end, the following data is stored for a maximum of 7 days, after which data are deleted:
- the date and time of access to the website
- the volume of data transferred
- the address of the website visited directly before visiting our website (referrer)
- the browser used
- the operating system used
- the IP address used, which is anonymised after 24 hours (the last eight digits are replaced with zeros)
This data is not used for statistical purposes. We do not pass on this data to third parties for commercial or non-commercial use. OekoFor GbR is not able to directly link IP addresses to users of our website. Furthermore, we have a contractual agreement with our website host to ensure that data processing is carried out in compliance with data protection.
Email communication (contact data)
If you contact us via email, the data you submit will be used to communicate with you. When contacting OekoFor GbR via email, data including your name, email address and IP address will be gathered. These information are within our legitimate interest if your email were, for example, to breach the law. We reserve the right to delete and if necessary report statements with contemptuous, defamatory, homophobic, or any other inflammatory content.
If you send an email to Oekofor GbR, we assume that we are authorised to reply to the email address used. If this is not the case, it may be advisable to consider using another channel of communication, for example contacting us via telephone or via regular postal mail.
Cookies
The Oekofor GbR website implements cookies. Cookies are short text files that store information from a website or domain on your computer for a period of time and send it back to the server when the site is visited again. We use Google web fonts in order to provide a consistent and elegant display of our services. This is within our legitimate interest regarding Article 6 paragraph 1 section f of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal data
The OekoFor GbR website collects and uses personal data. The data collection undertaken complies with our legitimate interest according to Article 6 paragraph 1 section f of the GDPR. Additionally we rely in part on information from website users in order to provide our services.
Data are only collected, used and passed on to third parties to the extent that is legally acceptable and/or to which the user has granted their permission. As an operator we are only permitted to store personal data for a longer time, pass personal data on or access personal data retrospectively, to the extent to which this is legally acceptable (e.g. in cases of suspicion of illegal activities). Personal data according to Article 4 of the GDPR are collected when visiting and using our website, they are listed in detail above in section 1 visits to the website.
We do not collect any particular categories of personal data according to Article 9 of the GDPR.
Who do we pass data on to?
We do not pass your data on to third parties for commercial or non-commercial use. We also take appropriate measures to ensure that the data we collect cannot be externally viewed or accessed by third parties.

The exemptions specified in Article 35 BDSG apply.

Right to restriction of processing (pursuant to Article 18 GDPR) – This right gives users the possibility of provisionally preventing the further processing of relevant personal data. This applies, in particular, in a review phase of the user estabilishing, excercising or defending other legal claims.

Right to data portability (pursuant to Article 20 GDPR) – This prosivion gives users the right to obtain relevant personal data in a commonly used, machine-readable format, for example pdf, from the provider in order to pass it on to other providers where necessary.

Right to object (pursuant to Article 21 GDPR) – This right provides users with the possibilty to object, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to the processing of relevant personal data where this is justified regarding the performance of public tasks or lies in public or private interest. In accordance with Article 36 BDSG, this provision does not apply where an official authority is legally obligated to process the data.

Right to withraw consent (pursuant to Article 7 (3) GDPR) – Users have the right to withdraw their consent at any time. An informal communication via email is sufficient to withdraw your consent to data collection. The legitimacy of data processing carried out until the withdrawal of consent remains unaffected.
